What does thirty years of experience look like in practice?

The shelter X1 is coming. It can stop anywhere.
Open countryside, rural development area, city down town. It doesn’t matter where it will be installed. It will not disturb any environment thanks to it simple shape. It will offer 100 % functionality everywhere and, which is the most important, it´s durable. So stop for a while and meet the new X1 bus shelter that is arriving. Designing the shelter and its modularity, Egoé has capitalised on its thirty years of experience in the field of design and manufacture stop shelters and bus/railway station roofing.
Slim yet solid? It's all about the back
The shelter structure load is supported by the rear wall. This design opens the way to unlimited modularity. You can choose different lengths according to the required capacity or let the side panels empty should they obstruct the passage. Another advantage of the self-supporting structure is its optical lightness. The shelters do not occupy much space, they get integrated into it and complete it.
Roof? Glass, sandwich or green
The different roof types may be delivered. The first option is hardened safety 12 mm thick glass. The second option is the sandwich PIR panel. The bottom edge is made of exposed sheet metal. Its colours may be chosen from the RAL colour swatch. A “green” roof design is available, too. It is a patent protected system based on roof trays containing frost-resistant plants.
Size? It can take half a bus
The X1 shelter design is based on the modular kit principle. As standard, it is delivered in four basic lengths from 2.805 to 5.542 mm but atypical versions with any number of fields may be manufactured.
The X1 shelters may be delivered with optional accessories. They include for instance timetable panels, information boards and stop name identification panels, lighting fittings or VLV showcases. The shelter may be coated with a graffiti-resistant coating or individual glass panel printing. A steel bench or wooden panelling was installed for specific projects as required by clients.
